Melville Attorney from Bellmore Pleads Guilty to Stealing Client’s Loan Funds in Real Estate Deal, Ordered to Pay $499K and Forfeit Law License
Michael Tulchiner, of Bellmore, pleaded guilty to stealing funds entrusted to him during a real estate transaction.

Suffolk County District Attorney Raymond A. Tierney today announced that Michael Tulchiner, 61, of Bellmore, pleaded guilty to Grand Larceny in the Second Degree, for stealing money that was designated to pay off a client’s loan as part of a real estate transaction.
“This sentence, including full restitution of $499,000 and the permanent forfeiture of his law license is a reminder that no one is above the law – especially those sworn to uphold it,” said District Attorney Tierney. “This betrayal not only harmed an innocent client but undermined the integrity of our legal profession.” Read more

Suffolk County District Attorney Raymond A. Tierney announced that Constantine Sackos, 59, of Holtsville, has been indicted on multiple charges—including Arson in the Third Degree.
Suffolk County District Attorney Raymond A. Tierney today announced that Constantine Sackos, 59, of Holtsville, was indicted for Arson in the Third Degree for allegedly intentionally setting a fire at the Pazzo Ristorante and Wood Fired Pizzeria in Wading River.
“This was a brazen act of alleged arson that could have resulted in tragedy,” said District Attorney Tierney. “I am grateful for the outstanding work of our first responders who quickly contained the blaze, and for the meticulous investigation conducted by my team, the Riverhead Town Police Department, the Fire Marshals, and the Suffolk County Police Department Arson Squad. Their dedication to protecting our community and bringing this defendant to justice is commendable.” Read more
